The Old Hickory 10″ blade butchers knife is a very large knife capable of butchering, the goto knife for barbecues, and works well as a machete. Old Hickory have been hand crafting their line of rustic carbon steel kitchen knives since 1924 and they’re still just as popular as ever. The 1095 carbon steel will require you to clean and dry your knife after use to prevent rusting. A brushed blade and textured grooves give the knife an antiqued look and captures the character of Old Hickory knives. Could be used as a meat processing knife, slicing, BBQ knife, and as a machete for brush clearing and survivalist tasks.
